New Barn sits on the same site, with the same client, as Cooks Farm but this was a very different brief - to design a flexible-use timber framed building which could be used as a tractor shed or house a workshop for children, retaining a direct access to the surrounding landscape. It needed to be insulated with the timber cladding lined up precisely to match each board on a one to one alignment scale.
